tbh does anyone care about Jag?

arguably their BEST looking car never went into production... c-x75 which is a supercar, so not for the avg folk anyway... but this might have spilled down to the regular cars in some way... sadly it never happened.

I think some Jags are good looking. But I am not a fan of the brand nor the reliability reputation. But I think they at least have a seat at the table

My dad had purchased a 2017 XF R-Sport and the day he drove off the dealer lot the check engine light came on and had a really rough idle so he returned it for a full refund because according to him "a brand new car shouldn't have a check engine light and rough idling within 2 hours of purchasing". It's sad because it was a beautiful car but he returned it with 28 miles on it (those miles were to and from the dealer btw). I'd never rely on a Jag to get me from Point A to B ha!

They do have a beautiful lineup of vehicles though.

I've seen too many brake light LEDs out on Jags to trust the cars

Its always those darn third LED brake lamps. If it's not that its a check engine light. Don't get me started on their sister company Land Rover. Just because the Kardashians drive Range Rovers doesn't mean they are good cars. Can't tell you how many Jaguar/LR products I see getting towed in at our local Jaguar LR dealer.

Haven't seen an ugly Jag in a looooong time, so he is right on all the points mentioned. Bmw has quite a few in the lineup right now, as do a couple other German lines.

100% agree. The cars are looking better and have good quality but some of them can barely past 20k miles without any issues. My grandmother used to own a 16' F-Pace before she replaced it with a Lexus RX. It's hilarious to me that my grandmother color matched her ES to her RX. Overall much better experience with Lexus than Jaguar (even though Jag has TOP NOTCH service, Lexus does as well but Jag does it a bit better).

One thing that also pisses me off about Jaguar is that ALL the interiors ARE IDENTICAL. The interior of a 2017 XE looks just like the interior of a 2017 XF, F-Pace, etc. It's so stupid. My grandmother's $68k F-Pace had the exact same interior as a $30k XE, they even have the EXACT same steering wheels. Jaguar could've changed somethings to differentiate the cars.

I don't think BMWs are known for their vastly different interiors through their model lineup either.

Personally, I've always thought the F-Type was an incredibly good looking car; definitely more of a head-turner than the ubiquitous F30. The XF, especially in Project 8 form, is quite handsome as well. I was in high school when the XK-8 came out, and it was definitely on my list of dream cars. And the E-Type is probably one of the most timelessly beautiful designs of all time.

Don't count on that Concept 4 grille making it into production. Concept cars often push the design envelope to see what will fly. I doubt that one will.
I don't think the pictures of the F Type do it justice. I've seen a couple in person, and they are drop dead gorgeous. I'd never own one, because if you buy Jag you need two. One to drive, one for the shop.

At least BMWs interiors have some differences. Jaguars are literally the exact same (down to some of the materials). The F-Type was always a gorgeous car to me, even though I'd never buy one I'd love to have one as a rental for a couple of days. I will admit the Project 8 cars are very interesting.

Also, am I the only one who notices that the new XE looks very similar to the last generation XF? The front end and sides especially. I can't get over how Jaguar can't differentiate their cars worth a crap too similar.

Jaguar made one of the most iconic vehicles of all time with the E-Type which is a more important car in the grand scheme of Motorsport history than anything BMW has ever built so they will always have a seat at the table based solely on that.

They went through a really rough patch under Fords terrible direction but even during those years they made some absolutely gorgeous cars. There more recent efforts are very impressive with a lot of reviewers going as far as to say the XE is a better car than the 3 series.

Not bashing BMW but simply don't agree with some of the hate on Jag here.

The successor to the E-Type, the F-Type is also a beautiful car. It has tasteful British styling.

Dare I say, we needed new replacement SUV for Wife, she did not want a BMW because both her daughters had one (X1 & X3). After several test drives of various other models (Audi, Alpha Romero, Cadillac), she fell in love with the Jaguar E-Pace. Truthfully, the car is really a nice looking vehicle inside and outside. The seats are very comfortable, it is a blast to drive for a SUV (it is heavily rear wheel biased), the information system is easy to use, the sound system is pretty decent and the vehicle comes with some decent options for the price. We have had this for well over a year without issues and I will consider another one when the lease is up.

Happy wife, happy life! But why wasn't Porsche on the test drive list? Cayenne or Macan would probably be at the top of my list if/when I'm ever in need of a crossover/suv.

I'm surprised nobody posted HUGE INFINITY GRILLS!

I think the blogger on the OP site mentioned BMW, but he should have mentioned INFINITY.
