Glad someone else pointed out the difference between AKI and RON. I thought I was gonna have to point it out...again.
95 RON (in the UK) is about equivalent to 91 AKI (US). Perfectly fine for stock. If/when you decide to tune, different maps will call for different octane ratings. I'm in California, so my tune is set up for 91 AKI (haven't loaded my E30 map in a long time). If you want to continue using 95 RON, just make sure your map is tuned for it. To my knowledge, octane rating is irrelevant to the detergent/additive packs different gas companies add (ie. V Power at Shell, Techron at Chevron, etc.). The additives are what classifies a gas as "top tier" in the States. Not sure if it's the same overseas, but as long as you're using a top tier gas, or equivalent, with at least 95 RON (91 AKI), you'll be fine. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_...rgent_Gasoline https://www.consumerreports.org/car-...h-extra-price/
