245/45/18 and 275/40/18 on f31 xdrive?

Hi everyone,

I have a smoking deal on set of brand new M513 wheels and was wondering if anyone has ran a set with 245/45/18 275/40/18 (the diameter is perfect)? I am trying to save the rear take off's from an M3 (they are brand new!). I am putting AC Schnitzer lowering springs and am concerned about the height width shouldn't be a problem.

front and rear diameters both 26.7", perfect for an x-drive. it is 0.7" greater than the factory diameter of 26" and the sidewall height is 0.35" greater than the oem sidewall height.

it'll look a little beefy but provide ample impact protection, fill the wheel gap, fix the bmw speedo(reads higher than actual), accrue less mileage.

negative things are heavier tires and taller gearing at the wheels, which will slow acceleration albeit very slighty and probably not noticeable.

Thank you for the response. It took some digging but I found another forum member that did this.
