Need suspension, clueless

My 435i xdrive m-sport, needs to be lowered asap. acs and dinan dont lower quite enough for me. I've also heard terrible reviews from h&r, so don't really wanna mess around with them. Is my only option going to get coilovers? I've heard some people run the RWD variants of lowering springs, will that hurt anything?

I would recommend Bilstein B8 with your choice of spring.

Very happy with them (and AC Schnitzer spring kit).

eibach sport line? honestly if you're trying to slam your car just save up for coilovers, you can only lower a car with springs so much before the travel of your strut is too far and you hit the bump stops. Your ride will be crap

will eibach sportline eliminate the wheel gap? not trying to slam it, just rides like a monster truck right now.

I did this study when I was researching for my car. You would obviously want to confirm drops for your specific vehicle but my guess is that they would be pretty similar for all F3X body vehicles.

How low do you want the suspension to be? After a certain point, the practical aspects such as getting in and out of parking lots will create an acute desire to have an air suspension instead.

Did you have a chance to explore KW Street Comfort coilovers which are available for xDrive models?

I love my KW Street Comforts. I've had 2 other cars lowered on springs/shocks and i'll never do it again after getting these coils. I can't find a drawback. Rides better than stock and I can set the height.

I want it so it drives without being to bouncy, but all i really want to do is eliminate the wheel gap

KW Street Comfort coilovers might very well be more than capable to meet both requirements without being too expensive.

I went with the HnR super sports and love them.... anytime you lower your car you're going to lose some comfort

The other springs just didn't lower the car enough for me to make it worth it.

The car is a lil bit more bounce but not enough to make me regret it.
The look and feel were worth it.

I suggest to search the Suspension forum and review members' experience with BC Racing coilovers.

Stopping short of any commercial endorsement, I had very good experience with KW Street Comfort coilovers especially if the suspension tuning range is modest. Body roll, floating symptoms will be gone while retaining comfort for daily driving.

If you want an aggressive drop then H&R supersport is the cheapest way. I ran them and enjoyed them but went with KW coilovers to go lower. If you keep an eye on the classifieds you can find quality coilover kits for less than $1k. I got my KW V1s for $550.

looking for coilovers

right now riding on stock suspension but untimely want to lower the car. Have both the look and the ability to handle nicely. I don't want to break the bank with suspension but willing to pay the price for the quality needed to get the job done. at the moment I have these in mind at all price point just wondering if I have missed anything or anyone selling coilover. You missed a lot of companies. H&R, KW, ST, etc.

H&R super sports with cut bump stops is a solid drop for cheap. If you don't want to cut the OEM bump stops you can get the dinan lowering bump stops for $190.
