Hi Shawn, I just bought a 2015 428i Gran Coupe and I just downloaded a torrent for North America NEXT 2018-1 but it doesn't recognize the USB for update and I used this 64GB stick to update the software previously.

Could I please have a link for North America NEXT 2018-1 to verify if I have all the files?

And also, do I just put all the folders in the root drive of the USB, so there should be a folder 1, 2, 3, 4 and 3 files (config.nfm which is 0 bytes, NBT_NANT_111164.3.111.pkg, and NBT_NANT_111164.3.111.pkg.sig)

That is correct, 4 folders named 1-4 and 3 files in root of USB drive.

Thanks Shawn for your quick reply. So that config file, is it supposed to be 0 bytes? That's the one that looks a little off.

Yes, config.nfm is always an Empty 0 Byte file.

It still doesn’t work. It won’t recognize the usb stick when I plug it in the center console. I formatted the stick to fat32 with a cluster size of 32kb and put all those folders and 3 files into the root drive of the usb stick

Is it because it’s a 64GB stick and I should be using a 32gb stick?

Not sure what details you need from me but I'd like to update my maps as they've never been done.

I have a 4 series coupe 420D (2014) and live in UK (assume this is bundled into Europe maps)?

Also, would updating my maps without going through the main dealer void my warranty (still have approved used warranty for a few more months)
