ebay keys
I have had a fob stolen for my 2014 bmw f30 car.. if I buy this one will it work or due I need a dealership key only? this is a 40 dollar ebay replacement,, Dealership wants 800 coded!! hopefully I can go this route and get Steve at Codemybimmer.ca to code it.. here is some of the info: :

you can get it for much less,
This key will not work as It needs programming, and noone knows what quality it is. Locksmiths always prefer to use Key from their supplier as they know how good their keys are. where are you located? |

i recently purchased an ebay key fob and it didn't work.
 I see now that they removed this fob model type from their listings. The issue I had was that unprogrammed key could not be programmed by my locksmith "who is a personal friend of mine". Also, the dealership is not able to program fobs, they just "sync" them to the vehicle. So I doubt that it will work.
