Few questions.

1) is it a custom exhaust with muffler delete using those tips?

2) did you keep the regular sideskirts?

3) what brand are the bumpers you got?

4) what actual F80 parts did you use?

Thanks!

Hey,

1) yeah this is custom with these tips

2) for now using regular side skirts (M Performance ones are getting painted will install soon), with side skirt extensions

3) the bumpers were bought online from different sellers on ebay, not sure what brand

4) for now OEM F80 parts so far just the wheels

This is a great conversion. Very convincing...

My two cents:
Get the appropriate hood and F80 trunk spoiler and your done!

Really wanted to put an F80 style hood but it was just too expensive for an aftermarket part

Yeah I hear you - but you did the fenders and those are sure as hell not cheap to purchase + paint blend either

You see how much WHP my built 2.0 liter 4 cyl DSM puts out.
OP doesn’t seem to care much for power anyway just the look.

FBO N55’s are just hitting stock S55 levels...don’t see how a 328 is running with an f80 unless you are talking upgrading turbo’s, e85, etc and much more than just bolt ons and exhaust modifications all just to keep up with them in a straight while getting utterly destroyed at the track as you simply do not have the same internals.

But at that point what’s the point to compare anymore : You can make any car faster than a stock car with enough $$ and hardware.

At the end of the day it’s still just a 328 and the M is an M

OP, nice job on this project however car looks great. Would cost the average joe a ton in labor but since you are doing this yourself you are able to do something you enjoy while also being cost effective. Well done

Yeah, it looks like you got a buddy to paint it...lot of orange peel going on in those close up pics.

But thumbs up for not slapping an M3 badge on it like some people...

Not a single square inch of orange peel after buffing now, those pictures were before, just couldn't wait any longer to take some pictures was really excited, but thanks

It will never be an M3 so no reason for badge , even got the "M Performance" badges for the fenders instead of M3.
