Arma speed carbon fiber intake for B58 gen1
Hey guys!
First time posting here for a long time. I recently upgraded from a F30 N26 to a F30 B58 So This time I wanted to put quality mods in the car. Most importantly we need a closed box intake since our turbo is next to it and you don't wanna get high IAT numbers. And carbon fiber helps the heat resistance just a little bit more. Most of all the look of the intake is just stunning. Hope you guys like it, just wanna share to everyone! |

Yes, if the carbon layup is reasonably thin even enclosed airboxes sound good.
When I had my E46 M3 I fitted the CSL air box carbon system to it and it sounded so much louder/ better than my standard box did. Also what colour is your car? Looks good. |

Looks nice indeed, but since the N52 SC debacle, only reading about the ARMA brand brings a little puke taste in my mouth. Good luck OP; I hope they learned from all these mistakes.

A few of their Chinese SC kits for N52 were literally exploding and Arma has been denying liability / ignoring complaints and kept selling their kits.
There's a few topics on the subject i.e. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=658297 Sorry for hijacking OP. I know that risks for an intake vs. a SC kit are very different and that those events happened almost 10 years ago, but to me Arma will always remain a shady company. I'd keep my eyes peeled on that intake if I was you.
