PDC Faulty Programing/ coding
Hi im from the 2 series forums but this forum is more active so here i am. Anyways, I rebuilt a 2015 2 series, front end hit. I replaced everything including the pdc sensors. I get an error anytime I put the car in reverse and the pdc sensors dont work. scanned with bimmerlink and it says I have faulty programming. Does anyone know how to fix this? thanks.

i would try and get hold of a copy of ista and do a diagnostic scan to get a better idea of what the exact error code and see if that clears it as bimmerlink doesnt give as much detail as that

Do you have 4 sensors or 6? A lot of higher specced ones have 4 in the front of the bumper and 1 in each of the corners near the wing called PMA sensors.
Easiest way is to call up BMW parts dept and say you want to buy a sensor then ask if its supposed to have 4 or 6. Unless you or someone else has screwed with the programming it's not just going to regress. |
