Hi all. I have finally flash stage 2 recently after installing and gapping new plugs. I took a log for it last night, would anyone be able to take a look and see if there's anything telling here that I may have missed?
Mid 3rd to end of 4th gear. 40-95/100ish pull. 91 map but using 93 as well to clean up any timing issues from poor gas quality. https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6008...3c0b147ad61942 Thanks in advance. Edit: Car/mod info 2014 335i EWG 8spd Charge pipe, intercooler, Catless dp, spark plugs gapped to .022

How long did you drive after flashing, before logging?
You have two throttle closures at the beginning of the pull to prevent overboost. Could just need some time to adapt or be because your ambient pressure is a little below normal/sea level. Other than that boost control looks fine. You do have a small HPFP dip even before the shift but nothing major, just a little suprising if you arent running any extra ethanol. Timing looks fine. Overall look good. Last edited by thejeremyman9; 01-21-2021 at 12:07 PM.. |

I flashed the map last Friday I believe. I drove for probably 30-45 minutes before finding the opportunity to do a log. Few pulls in that time but nothing crazy/log worthy.
I noticed the dip for the hpfp but wasn't sure if that was normal. Appreciate the info Also do you mean boost control looks fine?

Usually about ~50 miles is all you need for adaptations. You can give it some more driving and then do a log or two with a 4th gear pull if you want to confirm (rather than a 3-4). You really only need to be concerned with HPFP dips if they are 500+ psi (and not on a shift because that's expected). Also, here's my datalogging thread incase you haven't seen it already: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1732327 |

Thank you! I actually found that this morning and was reading through it after having done my log. Will definitely do a 4th gear one this weekend. I appreciate the help
