Uneven hood / fender on drivers side

Couldn't find any resource to explain how to adjust this. The driver's side gap on the hood is quite a lot bigger than the passenger side. What do I need to adjust and how do I get to it to even it out?

Trial and error, along with years of experience.

I finally paid the BMW Dealer Collission Shop for an hour of their time to fix it. The fine details of getting all the different large body parts to line up as best as pissible is always give and take among the various body parts.

The adjustment is via the hinges. It's a procedure best left to an expert.

Came to the realization that the hood is not the issue, it's perfectly aligned as can be seen from the top of the lights. The issue was the fender. Loosen bolts -> push it in -> tighten bolts.
