No remote services?

Just picked up my new 4GC and Iím surprised to find I canít see to access remote services from the app - lights on/off/unlock/lock/ventilate. Checking the web store it says remote services are not available for my vehicle

I had those on my previous F30 and that didnít have a big spec - no extended Bluetooth etc.

Surely this should be standard in the F36? Is it codeable?

I have just had this issue with my new X3. I rang the BMW Connected Services number and they said it was a mistake, Remote Services had not been set up against my car.

Once they had done that I had to log into the Connected Services website to activate them and it was all sorted.

Good luck, but I’m sure a call to BMW will put things as they should be.

This is whack if true. Guessing something isnt set up right.

My mid level 2014 F30 has this feature and works like a charm.

There is a weird USB symbol in the app so maybe it needs to sync up by cable with the car first?

I also had the usb symbol with a message below it saying something like, ďRemote services requires a valid Connected Services subscription, please contact BMW Connected Services on XXXXXXXX...Ē

As I said, mine hadnít been set up by BMW, if you ring them they will sort it out within 15 minutes.

Have them a ring and they said it might be a couple of days so keep an eye on it. Used the number form the website though - the one in the app was in German
