So I thought I'd start this off the back of the 0% offer thread, there's gonna be some new owners over the next month or two and some may (or may or may not) want to improve their cars visuals and/or performance.

There appears to be a lot of knowledge here so anyone who wants to jump in and help, please do!

I'll start:

440i coupe in black sapphire with brown cognac leather. I'm looking for a few visual bits only right now, just to emphasise the stealth.

Ideally kidney grilles, side skirts as a starter, and maybe a little boot lip and front splitter. I'm wanting to keep it OEM and all matching black or carbon.

Can anyone recommend a good retailer and parts? I've started looking and it appears a few bmw dealers have parts stores on ebay etc?

I've never modded or changed anything on a car in my life so this is all new to me...

Thanks!

brilliant thanks - 15% off on ebay today and it seems to include car parts.

Black kidney grilles are going to happen and maybe a boot lip spoiler - not sure whether to go OEM or a german copy? Anybody got experience?

Bluebell in Crewe did me stonking prices on OEM M Performance stuff.
All of it fitted exactly as you would expect for an OEM part.

I had:
Carbon front lip
Carbon boot spoiler
Rear diffuser
Black kidneys
Side skirts

I didn't get the side skirt foils as my car was Carbon Black and it was pointless. Also I didn't want the chav-esque M Performance plastered down the side.

Other options are the M Performance carbon mirror caps, but alternatives are available cheaper.

Finally. I lowered my car on H&R Springs and fitted 12mm front/15mm rear spacers to enhance it's visual appeal.

Interesting! Mine is sapphire black and primarily right now I want black kidney grilles, rear spoiler and potentially a splitter. I'll ask bluebell!

I'd prefer oem parts already painted but that may not always be the easiest.

Thanks

A set of these would certainly give you a slick mod on your coupe

The M Performance Lip, rear spoiler and mirror caps are carbon.
The skirts are black plastic and don't need painting.
The rear diffuser is painted matt black and doesn't need painting either.

Forget all the tat....

Buy decent suspension - ACS springs and dampers, or Birds B3, or even ACS RS coilovers. The most transformative modification on any F3x car that's used to drive quickly on A and B roads.

Buy a nice sounding exhaust - for the child in all of us.

If you're out of warranty (or even if you're not)... get it remapped. More power is (almost) always going to bring a smile to your face.

If you're feeling really flush, and going anywhere near a track... buy a set of Big brakes!
