Just wanting to share a cell phone holder that I recently found from ebay. The phone holder has an OEM+ design and looking which i like the most. Holding bracket is CNC machined equipped with strong magnet, looks freaking clean and awesome with practical usage. the bracket was secured using 4 small screws at four corner. Fitment is awesome. I once put my iPad on to test out how strong the magnet was. it was very strong holding the iPad in place.
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F163342747893 However every product has its pros and cons, so I have come up with some reviews on this product. Pros -OEM+ look especially with the black bracket -bracket secured using screws instead of clips and 3M tapes that most phone holders use -CNC machined, fitment is perfect -strong magnet, iPad capable -offer 360 degree rotation Cons -when you have you phone holding in place, the emergency button and unlock button were blocked -number buttons were blocked when phone is placed -price is slightly higher than regular phone holder but acceptable Last edited by gpxluke; 12-03-2018 at 07:46 PM.. |

Thanks. I’ll give it a shot. I never use the unlock button anyway.

Interesting. So where are the screw holes exactly? In the side bezel?

The screws go in through the sides and clamp onto the sides of the center control bezel. I'd imagine they would marr the plastic that the screws clamp onto.

Will this home an Iphone 6/7/8 Plus? one of the larger phones? That's been my issue in the past.
Also, wondering if the screws will mar the finish. However, I'd probably pick up a spare if they are cheap enough.

I have a Samsung note 8 which works fine for me. I don't think it will leave any mark on the OEM plastic bezel unless u overtightened the screws

Mine arrived today. I’ll try it with my xs max and 7+ and oneplus 5. They’re all larger phones.
I already have a bunch of koomus plates so I won’t be using the included two plates. Here’s a close up of the side Last edited by chowser51; 12-08-2018 at 02:56 PM.. Reason: Adding installed pick |
