Where to turn display off?? Can't find it anymore.

I use to have an option to turn my display off, which I had configured as one of my "hotkeys". However, BimmerCode wiped all my configured "shortcuts" -- and now I cannot find this setting in the menu, either. I wonder, if when BimmerCode coded, it removed the option from the menu, altogether? Or maybe I just can't find it.

???

Can someone confirm where this setting is? I'm guessing it was under "control display".

I know some newer versions of i-drive have options available that older versions don't. So, if it matters my car is a 2016.

Thanks all.

if you mean the display in the middle of the control panel, use the button on the turn signal stalk.

If I'm not mistake the option should be from the "Option" button from your iDrive controller. Just select that scroll down to the bottom and "Turn Off Display" should be there.

You can used one of the "Programable Memory Button" 1 - 8 to save a shortcut to the sceen-off menu.

I did, it works flawless..
