I don't have any first hand experience with those, but in general SPL makes nice stuff. I know a lot of their stuff has been recommended for track use only (not sealed well enough for the dust/dirt/grime of daily driving) so you may want to check for that. I wouldn't run un-sealed monoballs on a daily driver.

Their caster adjustable tension strut bushing uses the same method of adjustment as KMAC's monoball (PN 193916-7J for xDrive). KMAC's is very well sealed.

Where can we purchase the strut bars for an F30? They aren't listed on their site.

Any opinions about a potential last change of the F82 control arms?

Still thinking F8X control arms, but would have to change that and alignment again.. not sure its worth it at this point.

My summary index video is up for all of the suspension changes, with cards to each of the DIY videos of the build out.

DIY GUY, thanks for the quick reply earlier today. I ended up driving over to my local dealership to get a price for the front control arms, yep, def not going thru them for that! $450 CAN ouch! I figure with exchange these will come out to about $250 CAN from FCP Euro. Right after that I headed over to my local tire shop that I sometime get to swap over my seasonal tires and do any alignments. They pulled the car in the shop and did a quick free 10 min assessment and was very surprised to hear that they said the front end appeared to be fine. Nice and tight were his words exactly lol. Thinking I was prepared to order new control arms he said the bushings looked fine and didn't think that was the problem. Just to recap, driving home this past weekend on a long road trip my steering was so loose and sloppy and my traction control light kept coming on and shutting off my cruise control. It happens in anything greater than a gentle turn at speeds of around 110-120 km/hr. They booked me in for next week and say they will hook up a scanner and drive around and that they can see real time data from the car and if it is throwing any codes. So until then, I'll just have to wait and drive the car carefully.

General question on dropping the rear subframe, why do you need to remove the bolts for the spring mount arms? I didn't have to do that for my E90, just removed the subframe bolts with the diff supported and lower enough to add the inserts.

Well I disconnected the lower shock mount bolt to be safe. Seems the shock is probably maxed out just by lifting the rear, so dropping the subframe a few inches would have put unneeded stress on it.
