430d ppk

What's the best price to expect to pay for this? I have the M sport brakes already.

Also did everyone tell their insurance company?

I have to say, NOT telling your insurance company would seem the height of stupidity. Begging for a claim to be rejected and your insurance declared invalid.

You get a physical intercooler (and potentially brake upgrade if you don't have the m sport brakes) so not telling your insurance company is dumb, especially on such an expensive car, what's a few hundred quid worst case.

Ppk isn't about outright power, it's about how much more drive able the car is, and fully warrantied by BMW.

I'd say the 30d is driveable enough not sure how you would improve it.

Looking at the acs 2700£ version you only get a noticeable difference after 60mph. Shaves off only 0.2s 0 to 62??

You could buy my Steinbauer (virtually the exact same unit as the ACS one) in March for £500 as I won't need it on my 335d!

PPK isn't about 0-60 times or max output; the additional torque and power do make a very useful difference once you are off the line and, as mentioned, the BMW warranty is maintained. Other tuners may get, say, 20-30bhp more so you pay your money and take your choice.

Plenty of info available on the forum.

There was a good offer in Halliwell Jones Chester in September where they would supply and fit for £1050. Might be worth a ring?

If your car wasn't fitted with the M Sport brakes would that upgrade be included in the cost of the PPK? Or would it be additional?

0-62mph is affected by so many other factors a more "real world" test is the one we run from 80 - 180km/h (50-112mph). In this test the ACS tuned car is over 2 secs faster (12.6 secs vs 14.8) which will show in overtaking speed, acceleration out of roundabouts and so on.

Give me a call about the price if you're interested

It has to be fitted by dealer so that price is plus fitting and free delivery is pointless

My issue is that my insurance is £1400 which is nearly double last year due to 1 no fault accident and move to a vert... think it was £1650 modified.
