Drivetrain malfunction and error codes when flashing back to stock

I had a bm3 custom tune with Vrsf catless downpipe, xdi35 hpfp, bms intake, pure stage 2 turbo, charge pipes.

I recently flashed back to the stock tune choosing the xdi35 hpfp and the pre throttle tmap 3.5 bar which I have. I also put the stock downpipe and intake back onto the car.

A drivetrain malfunction is popping up as well as three other codes. Looking for any help

If you flash the custom tune back on, do those codes go away? Or if you clear, do they immediately come back?

I would think at least the first two are unrelated to the flash... third one seems potentially related to the 3.5 bar, but if you checked that option, not sure.

With the custom tune flashed the drivetrain malfunction is gone and pretty sure there wasn't any codes

The drivetrain malfunction is my biggest concern, rlly not trying to mess anything up. And that only pops up with the stock tune

Haven't tried an ots map. I feel like I'm missing something simple I just can't figure out what.

Worth a shot. Just trying to isolate if its something that was potentially modified in the custom tune, which might require follow up with the tuner.

The only ots maps I have recommend having the downpipe and intake on the car which I'm not trying to put back on. Think it'd be safe to flash the ots map on without changing the parts just to see if the car is throwing codes ?

Yes, you can flash the map and even drive around gently with it, without the DP on. And no maps require an intake lol... stock is totally fine. I would give it a quick test.

Do you think the pure stage 2 turbos have anything to do with it? And the drivetrain malfunction only pops up for me when accelerating onto a highway or those situations

The DME code, perhaps. But the other ones... no idea where those are coming from or how they would be related to the tune.

This problem is a bit tedious, you need to troubleshoot different situations, I hope you solve the problem as soon as possible.

Have you tried emailing your custom tuner? It sounds like that's the next logical step... maybe he changed something. That or you need to start researching those ICM codes.

Maybe the wastegate is causing the drivetrain malfunction
