He initially got back to me in a day or two. You could try the phone I guess but it's best to get to a point where you know what you want and then things will progress pretty quickly.

I went to the dealership unannounced earlier this year when I was passing by on the M1 just couldn't resist the temptation but did exchange a couple of emails previously. Luckily he was working and within a few minutes he accommodated me, straight down to figures and had a great chat very nice guy indeed. I didn't actually order from him as they couldn't match the part ex figures that my guys managed to squeeze out for me but it was real pleasure meeting him.

I don't get this. I ordered my car 6 weeks ago and I am getting quoted week 39 for delivery that's 21st September! ! 15 weeks! Not feeling select contracts are fighting my corner on this deal. Original delivery was 10th August and now pushed back. Do lease companies get the short straw on build slots or something?

Depends on the stealers? Some prioritise build slots before some others. Know who the dealer is? Also, any individual spec you added to the order?

Was purchased through leaseplan and select contracts were the broker. Nothing special. Estoril blue 335d with m sport plus, speed limit display, folding mirrors and pro media. It's just annoying the date got pushed back and bmw would have matched the price. Went through select as a favour to a friend who organised it. Tempted to cancel and reorder with bmw direct.

That's going to be a very special car, with a great colour choice.

I can thoroughly recommend the Individual leather, and I just wish they'd done the dash option when I ordered mine. I have a leather dash on my Cayman and it lifts the whole interior.

My views of VSS are quite straightforward - try it before you order it. I wish I'd left it off mine...

The individual leather and leat her dash really puts the interior in a different league. Think I would go that way myself next time. And Tanzanite is a stunning colour -just wish they would stop charging a premium for it.

Thanks mate! Although I would argue a M3/4 would probably be way better. This hits the right spot for me.

Does anyone have any pictures of TB with OW? Would be interested in pictures of the colour combination. Also what have people done to help keep the leather clean. I know this will be more maintenance than the black seats I normally get but I wanted a change and a lighter cabin...
