Thanks!

The xDrive sits quite high on it's wheels and makes for an unfortunate gap in the wheel arches.

Wondering what the leather dash would look like with the individual option. Glad the back of the front seats aren't white too because that would stain very quickly.

Absolutely stunning. Tanzanite Blue is becoming quite the common colour on here now. My Tanzanite/Black Merino F31 arrives early September with Leather Dashboard!

For those asking, I believe the differences between the "Standard" Leather Dashboard and Individual is that the Standard has black stitching whereas the Individual gets white stitching and also gets the tops of the door panels in Leather.

BMW 3-Series M Sport Saloon 4 Door
340i 3.0L Petrol Auto 331PS (159 g/km)

Just a heads up re Riaz, emailing is hit and miss as their spam filter appears to be a sales prevention tool. I never received a response from him after several emails so suggest you call. Tony responded within the hour.

You could probably get a better price from Riaz, as others have mentioned.

I tried TRL/Tony but I never got a reply. Perhaps I got the email address wrong when I sent it but I didn't get a bounce back. Maybe it went into his spam/junk?

Emailed both of them, with second hand 430d going for 33K for a year old car, i might as well buy brand new if they can offer +1k less than what i see on coast2coast. Fingercross now =]

BTW, the 340i got 6/10 in the latest Top Gear. A mini column write-up. Bad steering and not impressed with the adaptive dampers. They suggest a 335d xDrive if one wants a fast F30.

I've found the F30 electric-assist steering to be definitely lacking in feel compared to the older hydraulic system I had on my old E46. Whether this is just an electric steering issue in general or something peculiar to the F30 I don't know, but either way I wish the F30 steering was better.

It sounds to me as if the LCI is worse than the original, non-LCI.

Steering was never singled out for criticism in the non-LCI as it is routinely being in the LCI. My 330d non-LCI with VSS does have steering feel. Sounds like they broke it.

Handling was only praised in the non-LCI. In the LCI, reviews are lukewarm to negative.

I would recommend anyone who has ordered an LCI to now cancel their order and instead, buy a used non-LCI.

This issue with the VSS steering has been brought up a few times from the reviews i have read, but some seem to contradicted each other.

Now another recent review has cropped up to comment about the negative steering. Are all the reviews from the same hynm book, or is there a real issue ?
I have found that the electric steering in the F30 is generally ok, although not as good as before. I would be extremly pissed off if they have now made it worse.
Don't think my options have been locked down yet.

Couldn't say it better. I'd do exactly the same. It's the equivalent of when you get an insurance renewal through and they've hiked the price (even though you've had no claim) hoping you'll take the easy route and auto renew. Not only do I call them to discuss their 'scam' but I won't go with them - why give such a company your money.

Email berry bmw and called Riaz in Watford. Riaz busy hasn't got back to me. Berry bmw offered great buying price 33.5k on a 335d with pro media M plus pack Folding mirrors and speed limit display and 5 year servicing; but they couldn't beat the monthly payments due to not going lower than 5.4% Apr. Final value after 4 years was 16.9k. My pcp through select was buying price of 36k final value 16.6k, full maintenance with tyres breaks etc. Select were 6 quid a month cheaper. Not cancelling select due to the benefit of the tyres etc. And the 6 quid a month. Shame really that berry bmw couldn't squeeze the APR they would have had my business for sure. Definitely better to buy from them for cash tho.

The car has gone to '1200 Scheduled for Production' as of yesterday.

How long should I expect it to go from 1200 to delivery?
