Over the moon!
Just picked up the 430d F33.
Have to say the car is great. Sadly the rain meant i kept the top up on the way back from Park Lane. Roll on next summer! I will never buy a car without Adaptive M Suspension! This thing rides better than my 5 in comfort! Pointed steering and very forgiving chassis and suspension. 430d M Sport Convertible Black Sapphire Black Dakota leather with blue stitching Adaptive M Sport suspension Comfort Access Ext. mirrors - folding. auto dimming Enhanced Bluetooth telephone with USB & Convertible Comfort package Interior comfort package M Sport Plus package Media package - Professional Last edited by ZeroFx; 11-15-2015 at 01:26 PM.. |

Excellent news, and I totally agree about the adaptive suspension
Here's to many happy miles in your new motor!

I have no doubt at all that a 3 with adaptive rides better than one without, but for those who can't afford this as an option (or don't want to speculate on reliability risk), a 3 series with standard suspension is still very much well worth it.

Don't forget for a non m-sport the option is 750 plus vat. This makes it quite an expensive option for some. Best value option for my model was the Servotronic Steering. This works really well.

I have pissed on my own bonfire.
I wiped down the front end today. oh dear. What i found has horrified me. The front end of this car is in worse condition than the one i just sold with 61k! on the clock. Now the interior and rest of the car is perfect. The bonnet and bumper... Not so much. I have some very bad holograms and excessive stone damage. Even deep scratches on the bumper. This is the danger of buying when its pissing it down. Thankfully i put this in writing as part of the terms i would buy the car. I would not accept excessive stone damage, no more than 5 small chips in the paint and the black finish should not have excessvie swirls and paint defects. the car basically has road rash. had this been a PCP at 45k miles id likely get penalised on condition. Who ever used the rotary on this car needs firing. a blind man must have tried to fill the chips in using braille and now reads "im a retard who cant fill chips" Thankfully i covered my ass and told him due to rain id fully inspect car the following day in my car park when its dry and report if there is anything wrong with the car. He said that was fine and now forms a verbal contract If you want to see the pics then ill put links to my google drive. |

The photos need to be zoomed, some reason google compression reduces detail. Last edited by ZeroFx; 11-15-2015 at 05:04 AM.. |

thats in there as a comparison for BMW. The chipping is bad. Complaint lodged with Park Lane. i knew swirlies were very likely and some minor scratches. But that front end cant be buffed out. god knows what the guy tried to remove with that mop but it must have been bad for him to think "that looks better than before" My guess its a new front end respray done at BMW bodyshop. Plus some compensation for the hassle. Upside is that ill be able to put the PPF on a new surface and the car will look brand new. Last edited by ZeroFx; 11-15-2015 at 05:41 AM.. |
