Folding wing mirrors

Looking out the office window down at the car I can see that I forgot to fold in the wing mirrors. This would be a very useful option to add to the remote app. BMW if you are reading this.....

Code it so they fold in on a single press of the lock button. It is a very useful indicator that you have locked your car.

This would be most ideal. I have no idea about coding or how to go about it. I will have to read up.

Just place the key next to your skull/head (its well documented it improved key fob range Google it seriously) then hold down the lock button.

You might need to unlock first then hold down lock.

Holding down lock closes everything, windows, wing mirrors in, sunroof and makes the car submarine like waterproof like the white Lotus Bond car. Facht.

You can also lock the car with one press and press a second time time to deactivate the internal alarm if you've left kids, dogs, other half so they don't escape. It's all in the manual!

Yes as a regular on the Manx Boat to the IoM this is essential to stop the alarm going on with the motion of the ocean.

So if you have comfort access and just touch the handle to lock the doors, does this also retract the mirrors?

If your office / desk is close enough to fold the mirrors using the key fob.

Then you can also open your boot.

It's humorous on just how many people at work that accidently open their boots.

Quite a few have finished work at 5 to find a wet boot etc.

Usually having key in trouser pocket and sitting at desk does it

This can be coded, but there is a good reason why they aren't coded like this from the factory. The motors make a horrendous noise when the mirrors are frozen solid from the frost!

Indeed, I used to look out of my window at home only to see my boot wide open!!!

so i always take the keys out of my pocket when I get home.
