Question Dixcel Trackday rotors

Hi

Dixcel (who are probably bigger in Asia than in the US) has some "track optimized" discs.......anyone tried them?

http://www.dixcel.co.jp/en/rotor/rotor_hs.html

I am running their Z pad and very happy with it!!!

Are the rotors one-piece or two-piece? The stock photos I could find only looked like one-piece, but also didn't explicitly look like F3x rotors...

One piece but they have some two piece stuff also - their FP/FS line as BBK replacements.

Just looking at their application table for the 2piece they don't make anything that we could use. Nothing at 30mm thickness or correct offset except for the R32 GTR rears at 380x30mm. However not drilled at the right pcd for us lol.

You'd have to go custom with them.

Correct. My initial post was also about the HS rotor. The two piece is for BBK the way I read it.

Yeah I saw. Does anyone stock these stateside? If not, there's prob not any benefit in importing them. Website doesn't show the HS as anything special. Plenty of options for single-piece, cast and slotted rotors here lol.

What we really need is a true 2piece rotor that's cheaper than ECS. At $800 for the front it's a bit expensive to save 2lbs of rotational mass if you aren't counting milliseconds on a track pretty frequently. The rear dimensions aren't able to support a 2piece apparently :

If it's one piece is it really a "track optimized" rotor? Given the M-Sport and M-Perf rotors are, I'm going to say "no."
