Dinan is the safe route in my opinion. They spend a good amount of time programming their tunes.

Not even close to worth it. Dinan is a dying brand. It was sold by the owner Steve Dinan after he realized the one advantage they had was gone. (Proper ECU calibrator's)
Dinan spent years shitting on piggybacks how they were inferior now they're pushing them for a crazy price tag and they're not even super reliable, plenty of people have had random codes thrown because of them, but since it's sealed box there's no troubleshooting with it beside removing it and replacing it. Theres also a few (at least 2 stories) in the past 90 days of people getting shafted on the warranty, because once it goes on you lose the BMW warranty and all you have is dinans word which means if it breaks you must go to a Dinan Affiliated dealer. Screw that. |
