Traded in my e90 335 xdrive

got sick of the stock ride handling and the 4x4 look. I just don't think I would have been happy with an aftermarket suspension without paying 3k+. Also gonna try out the non-xdrive version here in Ohio. So far the winter has been warm.

We had three come through our dealership it is a huge stickershock, it has very nice options but to each its own, I'd rather pay 100$ more a month for an m4

Totally agree. I almost picked up an S4 but the Audi dealer just wouldn't work with me.

This car is simply amazing to drive. I drove a similar msport 435, but with xdrive and this car is hands down more planted and quicker. I think the LSD is a big reason why this car handles the way it does. I just didn't want to spend the extra for the M4 for my daily driver. This ZHP is simply well thought out and I'm surprised it's not getting more reviews from the Mags.

Man that car is so sick!! The only thing that would make it better is if you could take the black 19 inch wheels from the m4 and spec those out for the stock wheels. I might actually take this over the M4

Not to put words in the mouth of OP, but a few thoughts:

fuel economy
ride comfort
lower insurance rates
4 series aesthetics (some find the 4 GC more attractive than f30/f80)
Better daily driver
Exclusivity (production run of 100 is very, very low when compared with F80)

Given his level of enthusiasm, I'm sure the OP didn't overlook the M3 but decided that this car was right for him for whatever reason. Rather than second-guess his purchase because it might not be what I would have gotten for myself, lets congratulate him on having such an awesome and exclusive BMW!

Congrats on the purchase OP! I miss my e46 ZHP. I saw a new ZHP at my local dealer a few months back. Too bad they didn't bring back the alcantara interior for the f32. Either way, you have a great car. Enjoy!

I was more curious in asking OP why. It wasn't meant to detract the car, I think it's awesome. But insurance rates shouldn't be a huge difference (especially if you can afford a 70k vehicle)
