Not complaining, but why is Navigation, Sirius, etc working on CIC to NBT retrofit?
Replaced my CIC no-nav 6-pin HU with an NBT and emulator box. Did some minimal Bimmercode coding but no wholesale VO update yet to match the new NBT features. I know E-sys VO coding is a way to group-enable features, but I only hit some major Bimmercodes. Strangely, my navigation (2016 maps), Sirius, etc working. I do not have a sirius subscription. Just wondering...

Its the emulator which is enabling those functions to work. Usually the emulator contains all FSC needed and are fully enabled to work with the NBT to ensure that the unit the sellers is selling is plug and play. This very useful since the buyer doesn't need to tinkle with unit for it to work as intended.
