Cracking on the outter edges of both rear Pirelli Cinturato P7 Runflats. Anyone else experienced this? Tyres about 3 years old. Not sure if I should be concerned or not, Correct pressures always maintained.

Do you mean Pirelli? My fronts are 6 years old with no cracking and are P7 runflats.

my rear dunlop sports maxx gt rft were cracked at 3 years/30k miles plenty of tread left. I changed them anyway and ride is much more sure footed and quieter and less harsh. IMHO cracked means brittle/hard if you can replace it esp if you plan to own the car long term new ones will make a good difference.

Just looked at my RFT Bridgestones...coming up to 36 months but only 12k on the clock.
Starting to see early signs of similar as the OP. The tread still looks new, the cracking will probably be the reason for binning long before tread wear at my mileage. |

You should see what three years of Vegas heat, UV and no humidity can do to a set of tyres. Coworker just put some go-flats on his X5 because the 3-4 year old Bridgestone runflats had turned into hockey pucks. Lots of tread left, but the rubber felt more like Airfix model plastic. Top of the line Michelins go that way in mere months here, to the tune that many tyre shops will try and talk you into getting something else.
