Can't really see what's on the dash, what does it say? Does the reverse camera work? Check codes in ISTA?

everything works, on the dash it says "camera system" and u hear that ding noise...

im pretty sure this doesnt happen to anyone else when they hit R and the 360 view comes on the screen..

Definitely doesn't happen for me on a late '15 integration level. Did anything precede this change? Update your i-step level? Or is this out of the blue?

this started after i took my car to the repair shop....

but it was for body work...nothing electrical.... at most they might have disconnected the battery terminal? i would ask them but they are clueless.. needless to say i wont be returning back to that shop.

If you have ISTA I'd definitely check there, may need to reinitialize one or more of your modules.

It's the BMW factory diagnostic software, invaluable for doing any in depth troubleshooting or retrofitting. Should be threads regarding where to get it in the coding forum, you'll need an e-net adapter which are easy to make or cheap to buy.

Did they do anything with the front bumper? The front corner cameras work ok?

yes oddly enough, all my cameras and sensors work fine no issues at all, i could just ignore the ding and that msg on the dash....but its just annoying me lol

and no nothing was done to the front bumper, only my passenger side door.
