I had curb rash that I fixed a little while ago, but decided to give all four rims a paint job:

Taping up the silver parts was a real pain, the paint remover is the back up, just make sure you apply it with something like a qtip and spray water on it right after and wipe it down fast:

How did you tape over the machined bits? I am having such a hard time with it!
