Worst Case Scenario: Car stuck in quarantine !!
I ordered my 2020 Snapper Rocks Blue 440i Coupe about 2 months ago and have been following it the entire way through production only to now have it at the dealership, but unable for me to pick it up !!!! Only the service department is open and my dealer said they are trying to get approval to do a "No contact Delivery" where I sign the paperwork online and then just go pick it up. The problem I was told by my dealer is the notary part to finalize the sale? Im not sure how true that is and was wondering if anyone else has every heard of this or currently in the same situation as me

I don't know about PA registration requirements but I had my car delivered to my home by the salesman in UT. Great service!

Unfortunately, PA has a law that requires notarization to take place in front of a notary. Many states can verify identity remotely, but not PA.
Every dealer has a notary on staff, but involving them is probably not considered "essential" right now. It hit me too - not with a car, but with a financial transaction - requires a notary, but they're all shut down. |
