Added a poll so that I can get a head/car count in order to give Lick Observatory a somewhat accurate heads up and to see what other logistics we might need to plan for. Thanks in advance for participating!

Here's a quick summary of what's been discussed thus far:

Place: Coffee Cup, 3477 McKee Road, San Jose, CA 95127
There will be a group caravaning down from the Sacramento area, read below for details.
We may also have some coding services available to those who need it as well as a swap meet for anyone with parts to get rid of. All sales/trades are private and I will not get involved as an intermediary.

Drive to Lick Observatory via Mount Hamilton Road.

Food afterward.

If interested, please PM @Dheeth-F30 to get added to a contact list for Zello, a smartphone app that basically works like a walkie talkie/touch-to-talk...apparently.

Hey everyone!

There was a meet earlier this month up in the Sac area that I couldn't go to. Out of that, there was some talk about getting something together down here in the Bay Area. Just trying to gauge interest.

My thoughts so far:

- Meet & greet over coffee, possibly in the SJ area so that we can...
- Those who want, drive up Mt. Hamilton to the Lick Observatory https://www.ucolick.org/main/visit/carclubs.html https://www.porsche.com/microsite/gt...track/iAIYsf1W
- Anyone who's hungry or just doesn't want to go home yet, we can drive back down to grab a bite to eat.

Questions:

- Which would work better for most? Saturday 11/10 or Sunday 11/11? Trying to get a nice drive in before the weather turns. These days might be iffy depending on the forecast for that weekend, but I didn't wanna try for something too soon after the Sac meetup.
- Time preferences?
- Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Just checked the Google street view, that particular Starbucks doesn't seem to have a parking lot. Here's an alternative:

I'd say, hang out, coffee/snack, talk shop, appreciate each others' cars, gas up, etc. for about an hour.

Leave for Mt. Hamilton Rd. around 11:30/12:00.

Drive up to the Lick Observatory. It's about 20 miles each way and should take close to an hour (according to Google Maps).

Take a break to hang out a bit, take some pics. Maybe check out some of the stuff at the Observatory.

Head back down to SJ around 2:00/2:30-ish. We should be back no later than 3:30/4:00. At that point, we can find somewhere to eat or those who need to take off can head out.

We can add a couple things to the itinerary if anyone's interested.
1) If anyone needs any coding done, I've got a VGate + Bimmercode, as I'm sure others do as well. We could do that pretty quickly & easily for anyone who hasn't coded yet but would like to.
2) Swap Meet...if anyone's got any random parts they're looking to sell/trade, we could use this as an opportunity for in-person transactions. Personally, I've got a used set of chrome kidney grills (Sport, 8-slat), 2 front piano black door pulls (I have M3 leather ones up front), stock chargepipe, stock springs (sportline 335i).

Feel free to add any suggestions. Nothing is set in stone!

I have an M Sport rear diffuser and stock 328i muffler and another set of kidneys to add to the mix if there are any takers. Make an offer, I want them gone.
