Aftermarket Brake Pads for 340i?

Does anyone know if the 335i brake pads are the same as the 340i brake pads? I was on ECS tuning and most of the brake pads that fit the 335i says that it does not fit the 340i...

I've looked through the forums and couldn't really find the answer I was looking for. Is there any recommendations for aftermarket brake pads for the 340i (blue m-sport brakes)? I don't track my car and only occasionally drive spiritedly. Looking for something that doesnt squeel as hard as the OEM ones, and preferably less brake dust.

Hawk and EBC are good aftermarket options.

My 2017 BMW 440i GC has M Sport brakes. After 17K miles, no squealing sounds.

Akebono Ceramic brake pads are worth exploring. Brake pads and rotors do not like to coexist. Brake pad with a harder compound will eat the rotor faster. Softer pad will generate more brake dust while increasing rotor life.

How many miles do your rotors have?

Will be worthwhile to pay closer attention to rotor erosion with ceramic pads now 'coexisting' with rotors.

i swapped my pads and rotors at 41k miles... i could have gotten an additional 20k off the oem rotors but i switched cause i could.

i put on r1concepts geomet slotted and drilled rotors.

you should always be checking your rotors and pads for wear

All the four piston brembo, regardless of color or rotor size, are exactly the same caliper and pads. It's still an F30. They're actually the same set of brakes on the F80 and M4, and M2.

Thinking about the Hawk HPS 5.0.

My rotors currently only have 30,000KM on them (18,000 miles). Do you guys think they might require replacing? I would say I do 90% city and 10% highway.
