We are working on upgrading the MAF sensor to go higher then the stock limits. The trans flash can be used with any type of setup, though it will be more beneficial with our engine flash |

We'll just have to learn to accept and embrace the Supra as one of our own... in a step-sibling kind of way haha

I think it's pretty cool that a legend has our engine between its fenders.

OT: I also think it's cool that it's still a single turbo 3.0L strait six just like the holy grain 2JZ. To this day that is one of the most tuned/built engines of all time. If the B58 even gets a 1/10 of that support there will be significant leaps forward in development compared to what has been typically slow and very little aftermarket B58 support thus far. I mean the B58 is going into it's 4th year of production and it just finally got flash support, couple intakes available, and a few downpipes, etc. I suspect this is going to MASSIVELY change once a broader tuning market gets hold of it. Having owned my 340i for nearly 3yrs I've been pretty disappointed with the aftermarket for this car thus far.

The MP Stage 2+ with AT flash on a stock system on 2 gal of E85 looks amazing. I have access to E85 so it looks perfect for me.
Question for MP, if I'm travelling in areas without E85 or 93 octane, what will happen? Is it safe? Will it still drive fine with less HP on 91 octane? Last edited by Brett530; 01-16-2019 at 08:13 PM.. |

From what I can understand...the trans tune is what yields a modification to the stage 2 tune...to "2.5". I sent Alex payment for the Stage 2 tune today, along with payment for the TCU tune. I'm anticipating this "2.5" variant with the trans tune itself.

Correct. The stage 3 option is actually a modified stage 2 that is specifically designed to work with the trans flash. So when you purchase stage 2 engine tune and Stage 1/2 trans tune, you automatically get stage 3 engine tune unlocked.

ok I'll be the boring guy:
I've read through the thread and couldn't find somebody asking I need stock drivability and to retain ECO mode as well for commuting (why i went with the 340 vs the M3 in the first place). Will the tune affect MPG in any way when not in boost? Exactly the same but with more power? |
