About your problem, it' seems you need to code the f25 to 0715 Zeitkriterium FEM and Kafas, (and maybe ICM)

Try, it worked for me.

What Zeitkriterium has the F25 you are checking?

I don’t think so, but I never diged to much for that, because I saw that sometimes it warns me realy early and sometimes late. But I don’t think that is something from coding.

1. F25 doesn’t have FEM
2. I already answered you, I never cheked to much in cafd, but I don’t think you can code something about that. Only thing I saw, in KAFAS2 cafd, there is a setting in FCW about when to warn you, and you can change to early... but I don’t know if that will fix your problem.

I have a f34 2014 but had Kafas2, hba, sli from factory. I added 5ad and coded everything like you.

But i have a problem, LDW works but FCW doesn't. The button doesnt light up and if i push it, i get the screen on my NBT but it says its deactivated, and i have an error saying it doesn't work.

You have any idea what the problem can be and how to resolve it?

And how do i get the fsc for fcw? Is it codable, cause i know how to put in a fsc code for mapupdate, but fsc code for fcw no clue.

Will the car brake by itself to (with the fsc) when a collision is near or just show the red car in the kombi.

Hi larry,
I have the same problem, and i checked like as below, but:
- IN FEM: i dont see FAS_INSZENIERUNG and PIA_Default_SARAH
- in KAFAS 2: if i switch ON of FCW_SARAH, FCW show fail in NBT. And when i switch OFF in FCW_SARAH, its ok.
Like you, i can’t configure FCW in NBT with early, medium, large. When i choise a mode its dont remeber this choise.
Do u have any ideas ?

Hi.
I have encoded in a F20 the 5AS includes lane change warning and front collision warning. I got the codes FSC and I have installed, I put the code FA 5AS in Esys and I encoded FEM-BODY, KOMBI, KAFAS2, and ICM Everything works, but I don't have an acoustic warning.
My question is, do I need to code any more bodies?

I have Setup image on the screen to choose braking distance.

I got an fsc code for fcw and did following in esys
comfort mode, fsc, select fsc, read vin, diag adress 0x5d, identify, upgrade fsc.

Result is still the same, if i push the buttom the light stays off and i get this (see picture) saying that its not activated (picture 1) and if you read fsc it says fsc fcw is accepted (picture 2) What is the problem???

Hi larry,
When i press button for FCW, the NBT show error front-end collision warning.
I has fsc’s for kafas 2 and add 5AC,5AS,5AD,8TH to FA and VO code. But i only get LDW working, FCW show error and SLI only show the red circle with (- - -).
Have u any ideas for fix this ?

Hello larry_bml , I read all your post until now, I need help to code on my M3 F80 CS 2018 the Front Collision Warning e Pedestrian Warning, car is fitted Oem with last Kafas2, 5AC and 8TH and I just bought FSC code for both: AppID 319 (13F) - Front Collision Warning (FCW) and AppID 320 (140) - Pedestrian Detection (PD)
On my CS there isn’t LDW, do you think it’s necessary to retrofit LDW 5AD too and add vibrator on steering wheel and the set of buttons to active/deactivate it or not?

If you can help me it will be very appreciate, thanks in advance!
