I'd reiterate what BorneATeste said. I found the 1.6 maps a bit more binary (harsh on/off) at light throttle cruise. This just flows power smooth like stock and pulls hard.

It still locks up the seatbelt pretensioners giving you a sh*t eating grin.

Flashed and took for a quick drive, agree with all above about the smooth power delivery.

just put e30 tune on mine...made a huge difference from 91 octane! .3 sec and 3mph in the 1/8th mile better on my first pass.

Question. I'm not familiar with E30 but we have 94 octane fuel here so would that be equivalent and be a good option to run with the e30 tune?

no!

e30 is a blend of e85 (corn fuel; 100+ octane) and 91 or 93 octane gas.

you mix the blend until it's about 30% ethanol, and then you can run the e30 tune.

for a 16 gallon tank on 91 octane; it's 4.25-4.5 gallons of e85 and 11.5 gal 91 octane

Does anyone know if version 2.0 is still the latest or is there another update? I have a 2018 340i manual and I would say 1/4 throttle was full boost in v1.6 and in v2.0 it's now 1/3 throttle, so it's an improvement, but still very abrupt if you're anywhere between 2500rpm and 4000rpm. Even with the throttle cracked, the boost will just hit once you get close to 2500rpm. I also have a very slight lag after shifting and the hanging rev problem everyone seems to have where it continues to throttle a split second after letting off and pushing in the clutch.

You need revs for it to build boost (around 2500-3000RPM with part throttle from what I see is where it starts to pull). If it's hot outside and you are doing a lot of stop/go, high IAT temps well increase bottom end lag, which you'll feel as that dead spot to a sharp power transition.

BM3 just increases the power so it amplifies the stock effect of this.

I have a 440 rwd, bootmod3 stage 2 version 1.6. I do 100-200 in 9.6 seconds. I see that much slower than other colleagues. (I have automatic change) how can i improve it? Do I try version 2.0?

Yes it's faster. You also may have other problems. Post logs and we can see if something's wrong.
