HVAC / Heater Blower motor replacement

Hi all,

I have a 2013 F31 330d with the T903543 HVAC motor blower with resistor part no. 9276112.

The newer versions (LCI and newer) that use the same ballast resistor seem to be (from various eBay images) very similar if not identical in terms of bolt hole and spigot location and spacing however the clips/mouldings that are either side of the HVAC exit/entry port are different.

Question, do the later versions of the motor physically mount/mate up to the car and work?
Everytime I've purchased a T903543 from eBay, the motor has been noisy.
