Coding part should be not a problem. Just have to change the display size, etc.

@ToofyFIT hey man, I just bought a 335is a few weeks ago and it had some coding already (Mirrors, speed in cluster, front headlight washers disabled, etc...) - I'm new to coding and I just had a lot of codes come up (see attached). I took it to my trusted local Indy shop and they said the rear wheel speed sensor is causing it but the car is not recognizing that it's fine - they suggested I take it to BMW. Would coding have caused this? I'm due for a software update at the dealership, will this clear and override all of the coding done on the car? Would greatly appreciate any advice!

hey man... it could also be an issue and a bad coding writing on the ECU's. But once the software gets updated on your car, the codes will get overwritten and you will need to redo them again. ECU's do get their own firmware updates believe it or not by dealership sometimes by BMW if they tweak or fix issues.

PM me if you ever need to diagnose a code so you dont waste a trip to BMW or get charged!
