If So how do I can apple car play? Can I get it for free from BMW? as I don't think I have it currently. I have active pedestrian safety what is this? I am sure I will have more.... |

Congratulations and welcome to the club as far as I know you have id5.0, about the apple car play I have no idea DD The active ped.safety is an autonomous braking system which detects pedestrians at the front with the sensor in your windshield and sends you a warning, if you don't react it will apply the brakes anyway. This system only works at low speeds and you can turn it off anytime.

You need to get an FSC code for your car and then code both Enhanced BT and CarPlay. Contact shawnsheridan if he can guide you. Or ask Patrys@BimmerTech or Nelson@BimmerTech for a price quote.

I see
So far so good... just trying to get my seating position spot on, I have been used to driving a ford smax which had a high seating position and loads of leg room need the pedals. The bemmer has absolutely the bare min space required in the pedals area, left foot on rest and other on a pedal, no place to rest the right foot when your cursing with CC on. |

'Rest' it on the gas pedal. Back in the days of mechanical CC the gas pedal would move as the engine was given more or less fuel, but with electronic CC the pedal doesn't move. I use my CC regularly, never found it the least bit uncomfortable leaving my foot on the gas pedal.
