Coding Replacement Injectors

I have a 2012 f30 335i. I was looking to replace the injectors.
Is there any software that I may need to code the new injectors to the car?

BMW ISTA is the factory diagnostic suite used to code/program the vehicle.

I did this DIY at about 110k miles after one of my injectors failed in a stuck open position at an HPDE.

I did code the injectors, however, I don't believe the coding was any different than what the car was already programmed with. The values printed on the replacement injectors were the same as the old injectors that I had removed.

If the DDE control unit or an injector has been replaced it will also be necessary to carry out injection quantity compensation. The adjustment value for the injection quantity compensation is printed on each injector. The adjustment value must be read off before installation. Full diagnostic/repair software is required. https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...alves/ITkr1aNI

As an FYI, when I replaced all 6 of my injectors, the OEM replacements from FCP Euro had the same quantity compensations as the original ones that came on the car 5 years earlier. While I have ISTA and could have made the adjustment if there was going to be a change, there wasn't.

How did you verify between EU5 or EU6 injectors? Build date? Test plan? TIA.

I believe there is an ABL within the Service Functions of ISTA that will determine whether you have EU5 or EU6. That's how I verified.
