What parts are need for the WLAN option to operate besides the ATM Telematics option?

Apart from the antenna, which is an easy job, Telematics module re programing is difficult part. Its a vin specific aswell, plus internet from BMW is quite expensive. For the luxury of having a BMW expensive wifi in a car, ( that possibly mightn't even work) you'd be better of with a wifi hotspot if thats what you want.

I have factory WLAN in my wifes car and its useless!

Aware of the ATM challenges.

Was wondering where the antenna was run to and mounted from the link above.

A link I found online showed it's only $15 a month for unlimited data from ATT which certainly doesn't look expensive.

Yes, i can see how it would be dependent on the Country's data provider.
