Good car wash in NNJ/Essex county?
Are there any touchless wash places or car washes that don't use that stupid rail system that will mess up your wheels in the area? I can't seem to find one other than a place in Hackensack, but that's a good 30 min away from me. Looking for something more local (Essex county). I don't always have time to wash my car myself and I refuse to go to one of those crappy automatic car washes.

Perfect touch hand car wash in hillside, Nj
On rt 22 west. Really small place but they literally use mits, towels, brushes and a hose to wash your car! |

Thanks for the suggestion but route 22 is a nightmare, there's always so much traffic. I ended up finding a hole in the wall spot one town over that does it all by hand and only charges $6 for an exterior. Only catch is that it's not in the best neighborhood. It's called Glenwood Hand Car Wash in East Orange.

Yea 22 sucks but I usually go early morning so it’s not that bad. U can also get there via the side street and avoid 22 if u take the streets. If your closer to maplewood, Irvington then it’s no bad at all.
Never seen that place. Might look it up for that price |

Chamos Hand Car Wash in Elizabeth, Dr Detail in Edison, and ShowRoom Hand Car Wash in Scotch Plains. Been to them all of them and can recommend; none are automated.
@ Chamos you drive through and get the hand exterior treatment and air/towel dry @ Dr Detail it's appointment based, a little more expensive but they do a great job @ Showroom you step out, car is on rails but gets hand wash I started washing myself (bought a power washer and foam cannon) but on days when I'm lazy I go with either Chamos or Dr Detail (can't go to Showroom anymore, my car is too low and don't like the rails). |

Yeah I have all the equipment (power washer, foam cannon, etc.) just sometimes it's too hot/cold or I'm feeling lazy, or I just don't have the time. In those instances It's definitely nice to have some non-rail options to go to. Not trying to curb my pretty new wheels, lol.
