Dipstick

Mind blown chaps,had my 335d from new in 2018,and after giving the engine bay a detail i found a bloody dipstick for the engine oil,always been told they never had one.

I think I read that it's missing from some markets, but the UK is one that does have it. Not that they make it easy to find, it's kind of tucked away there.

It's not present on the petrols, but the diesels have them.

Yeah it's strange the diesels got a dipstick but the petrols didn't.

It makes for a very quick oil change

Right hand (passenger) side as you look at the engine, right towards the back.

It has a small black handle, which is why most people don't see it and assumed the engine doesn't have one.
