Amazon Drop in filter

Has anyone tried this Amazon drop in filter? It looks just like the K&N filter but is only 15 bucks...

Let me know what you all think.

Don't bother with oiled filters all they do is foul the maf sensor and provide a total of zero benefit over oem paper filter.

If you absolutely have to fulfil your need to mod the intake on your car get an afe pro dry filter

Im pro oiled filter... never had a problem with them if they're cleaned, oiled and dried correctly. I went with BMC drop in. Just my preferred choice. Just throwing an option out there!

Honestly its not worth to go with an unknown brand to save $20 ... You can get Pipercross, K&N or AFE filter

I'm running one 20k miles on it no issue. I figured how could they fuck up a filter... It's just paper.

Been using the BMS intake and filter for soon 50k km and had it cleaned/oiled yearly. No issues here also.

But dont go aftermarket for the power - there will be none to gain. Do it for the sound and visuals if you are into that.

Im running a Pipercross air filter and am about to clean it for the first time. Any tips on applying the oil so i can get the very minimum on the filter?

Try throwing it out and getting a dryflow filter.

Did you search old ass threads and reply to them for a generic thing you could have googled?

Searched without much luck im gonna clean it with the solution then pour some dirt retention fluid onto some aluminum foil and spread real thin then just smear the filter into it and mop it up. Then ill know the bare minimum has been applied. These filters are nice. Got it from Mike at xph.
