N55 - crank , no start, compression test

Hi there!

I recently bought a non running n55 powered car. The previous owner couldn't specify the issue. There were some misfires in some cylinders on engine start up, but no start. Since there was a grinding noise from the valvetronic motor we decided to start by taking off the valve cover and inspecting the valve train. Valvetromin motor teeth were quite worn, so we ordered a new motor.

The real mystery started when we performed the compression test.

We are getting around 80 psi in all cylinders. At first glance, timing looks fine, both qr codes on camshafts are pointing up when the engine is in TDC.

We are baffled about the low compression readings, and we need some advice on where to look forward.

Any advice or insights are greatly appreciated.

Here are the fault codes we are getting.

Did you do a leakdown to confirm its low because of valvetrain and not rings?
