Love the ride. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the super black taillight tint. I suggest you get a bootmod3 stage 1 tune. Think with the mppk it will make the burbles sound great. Maybe go with a cf rear diffuser and gloss black roof.

Thanks man! I definitely want to change the exhaust for something a bit louder, but not too loud. I'll check out that tune! Appreciate the feedback 💯

My 335D GT Xdrive

Here are some photos of my 335d XDrive. It will be getting an exhaust conversion to 335i style and is still to be lowered on Bilstein B8s and ACS shocks. Current mods are SL Remap stage 1 380bhp, XHP Flash, Alloy wheels refurbed and repainted BMW Grey (can't remember the code), Brembo upgraded discs and pads all around and matt black kidney grills. Car has just been machine polished

Well, I'll tell ya. In Normal mode it is definitely peppier, with more engaging gear shifts. However, the magic happens when you shift to Sport or Sport+. The car comes alive and actually feels a bit twitchy. I guess it's the combo of the bootmod3 and PSS4s, but it def feels more fun. To be honest, I'm looking into jumping on an F-Type R or SVR soon so may not do the DP, MPE, and FMIC (as one should) but can tell you this: even in this behemoth, if you do just the 3 upgrades coupled with bootmod3 and coilovers, you're gonna love driving your car again. Lastly, as with anyone who has an F-series, I've programmed the crap out of it, using Bimmercode. There were so many options that the factory didn't activate. Enjoy your ride!

Yeah I agree. I'm only in stage 1 on n26 motor and in sport is def an improvement. Even comfort is less sluggish. I'm going to do a resonator delete with a 335 axelback muffler for some improved sound. Not going the muffler delete route since it's the family car and my wife drives it mostly.

6WB is a nice dash. As far as swapping over to 335 dual, you might want to double check clearance on the right side (passenger). There's a big box down there that might not allow for the dual option. Cleaned her up today after 3 mos!

My buddy did it a few years ago and I've seen a few people do it on Instagram so it's def doable. The only thing I have to worry about is finding the right quad tips 🤣

Let me know if/when you do it. Def post pics and if it'll be a dyi then maybe some hints and caveats. I've got a buddy with an MPE for the 335 that's just laying around waiting for me (lol). If it does work, we'd get some sexy burbles fasho! Btw, can you link the threads of folks who have succeeded? Thanks and Good luck

Well I wouldn't attempt to diy the muffler lol but just bring it to an exhaust shop.

Thanks for the links. The 340i swap sounds best. May look into that. It would def be cheaper than MPE...

I think his also has bm3 stage 1 tune for the burbles. Either way I like both for the extra sound and best thing of all is this setup has no drone. At least from all the research I did. So this is the perfect middle ground for me

Removed all 3 rear badges, only replaced the 'GT' with a gloss black one. Have '335i' in the same color but may leave that one out for now to confuse people . 'X-drive' is definitely gone for good.

Where did you buy the black GT and 335i emblems? I been thinking of doing it myself. I have the same color GT and your setup looks great!

Thanks man. I got them from eBay... both were from the same US based seller, one of the few selling these in 'gloss black' which is what I was looking for. I saw some that were a little cheaper, but all from China.

this is the photo thread, your question would be better in its own thread.

Are you xdrive right now? The general rule is for xdrive, keep heights within 1% difference or the system has issues. I'm assuming you are rwd now, not so much of an issue (your current front/rear difference is over 3% and xdrive wouldnt be happy with you.)

Stock size on staggered 19's is 225/45-19 and 255/40-19, so your fronts are already shorter than stock and you are matching the rears now with your new size. You will be running what the oem staggered setup for non-GT's is. Other than giving up some comfort and your speedo might be off some, tires should be fine.

Use an online calculator to compare tire sizes/speedo error:
