Hi Gents,
The sat nav installed on the F30 is the Business Sat nav, do these updates are also supported by this version? I'm after the European version.

I have a F32 (BMW Serie 4 Coupè) with Road Map EUROPE Next 2013-2 and I want to update to EUROPE Next 2016-2. I have got the map archive from torrent (19,3 Gb archive) and reading a lot in the forum I think I have 3 options:
1.- Going to the dealer and buying the map with FSC code (Very expensive).
2.- Getting a ENET cable and using the software to extract and decode the FSC code ( I don´t know what software is the right for my car and navigation system)
3.- Asking for somebody getting the FSC code for me and pay for that,

Maybe Shawn could help me with the number 2 or 3 option. I would be very grateful

Hi Shawn,

I currently have a 2012 328I with premium maps, when we update the navi does the interface stay the same?

i.e. is traffic still displayed as red arrows, or does it show as red/yellow/green lines?

is there a possiblity of including more traffic info? Its mainly just on highways right now. When I rode the newer BMWS i noticed they had a lot of traffic info for local streets as well.

Can you also send me info the the update and FSC code?

Map Update updates Map Data (Streets, POi's, & 3D Map's). The appearance and functionality will be the same after update.

Your car has CIC Head Unit and runs PREMIUM Map. Newer cars have newer NBT Head Unit, and run NEXT Map so the entire iDrive system including Navigation has a different appearance.

New cars also have 6AM Real-Time Traffic Information (RTTI) compared to older 6UH Traffic Information, so it is improved.

Hi Shawn. I have an April 2015 330d (UK) with pro media and Europe 2015-1 maps. I'd really like to update to the latest maps but I don't have a clue where to start. If you have any tips / info to help me update it would be much appreciated!

There is no warranty issue. The map is original BMW AG OEM Map.

I'd PM but I don't meet the post count yet. I'm US military and recently PCS'd to Germany with my '15 F25. I need to update the map database to reflect European maps (probably eastern if there is still a divide). Please let me know if you can give me a hand. Thanks!
