Update - got my car back today, they have to order my comfort access piece directly from Germany. Will have to take it back in a few weeks once the part arrives.

As for the recall, it seems to be:

"F22 F3x Reworking steering gear"

Funny how I didn't know about this before. Either way, I'm glad it's been taken care of.

Happy with the double slat look
I got a pair on order too.

So you definitely have to remove the seal and go through the top? You couldn't reach through the grill to the tabs? I'm look at mine and trying to figure a way.

One of the guys on here used a crochet needle to hook it. I got some of the top tabes free with that method and may have been able to do it all if I worked out the side ones!

Honestly a tortex 20 & 30 screen for the top of the bumper and 10 mins later and it was done.

The slide function is great, love that part! Looks great too! Congrats!
Is this part the only one that slides? I assume you just remove the old and replace with this one? I wish my current one slid forward !

I just pulled the grilles out in one firm, swift motion. Bumper and grilles all survived!

I have only seen Euro ones slide outside of M performance or M ones. If you wanted a colour match to your interior I would look on eBay for international ones maybe. Otherwise it's Alcantara!

It definitely took a week a week or 2 to settle. Comfort mode is pretty much the same as standard, my car is virtually always in sports plus now.

My ebay prepainted spoiler came today... looks like good quality spoiler/paint job and came with tape and instructions.... will probably install tomorrow after getting car washed...

Here is the link if anybody interested... they offer other colors as well...

P.s. they are painted to order so it adds a week to delivery time... mine was 2 weeks total which isn't bad at all...

Just dropped off my car at the dealership for maintenance. Out of warranty, but they're running a labor rate special. Oil change and vehicle check, CBS resets.

Wow... I can't believe what a difference that is from a base F30.

Finally got to really stretch it's legs at the first track event of the season at Pocono Raceway yesterday. The car performed well, only issue was a slightly squishy brake pedal since I didn't have time flush the brakes yet this year. Managed 143mph on the back straight before running out of track, that's nearly on par with some C5 Z06's I ran with throughout the day. Not bad for a FBO car without Meth or a bigger turbo.

If anyone is interested in some track time look up Track Night in America. They run events all over the US for $150 a day. I've been tracking with them for a few years now and I highly recommend them.

Put new black chrome tips. Just replacements. Also putting a microfiber rag in the car to clean them daily!
