Intelligent battery sensor
Hey everyone,
i scanned my DME with my scanner and it threw a Cd8f01 code LIN IBS sensor missing. i check my battery terminal and it looks like the IBS is connected properly to the negative terminal along with the cable that runs to the rear wiring harness. i ordered a oem replacement off of ebay and just installed it, cleared the code but it still shows IBS LIN SENSOR MISSING. What should I try now? |

Did you check all the wiring going to the IBS for continuity? Ohm the wires out.

*********SOLVED*******
there is a small red cable that runs off of the red terminal. it fits onto a pronge. ensure that it is attached to your + terminal on your battery. if the IBS on the negative terminal is still functioning properly this should fix it and remove the code. |
