New M-Sport front bumper

Shout out to Johnny and Alex at CID Autobody in Oceanside! Those guys did an amazing job on my new OEM M-Sport front bumper. My old, aftermarket bumper made in Taiwan wasn't cutting it (no offense to Taiwan bumpers).

The old bumper didn't match the color of the car how it should, had black pdc on alpine white bumper, black plastic hole plugs for side cameras that were never there, and broken headlight washer covers, when I never had headlight washers. Not to mention the fitment always bothered me...

So I bought a new OEM bumper and couldn't be happier! Two before pics at the end. It looks SO much better!! Oh and I had them paint match the top part of my front splitter, and gloss black bottom, and also paint matched my side markers! What do you think?

My list of mods

I started putting this mod list together when I bought my F30 at the end of March 2022... the list grew pretty quickly, and there are things on this list that have been checked off, and already off the car LOL (#1 & 21 no longer on the car) It's constantly evolving, but I'm running out of things to do!

What are some of your favorite or needed mods that haven't made this list?

Also, I still want to change my head unit out (head unit is from EU) so I can get SAT radio added rather than using CarPlay for that... I don't want to lose CarPlay, so if anyone can suggest how to do that, that would be great!

Side Skirt Extensions

I feel like I'm running out of things to do on the car, but one thing I've wanted to add for a while have been the skirt extensions, and I finally did it! Had these delivered today, and they were on the car within an hour.

Install was super easy and quick. Drove the car up on stands (was tricky clearing the front lip, had to get creative with some wood I had) and used metal screws and double sided tape for mounting.

I think it came out great, and just added a little something extra to the car! Now, what's next...

Sorry about the dirty car, it'll be clean tomorrow!

Zimmerman drilled/slotted rotors 370/345

I installed some new rotors on the car yesterday! Finally got my slotted and drilled rotors and they are exactly what the car needed! These look amazing IMO and I'm stoked!

I've got the F80 bigger brake kit, but had solid rotors for the last few months. After a bunch of research on here and other sites, I found that the Zimmerman slotted/drilled rotors are NOT directional. I was confused for a while there...

F30/F80 CS Style spoilers for sale

I've got a couple gloss black F30/F80 CS Style spoilers for sale. Two brand new, with 3MM tape. Ordered two by mistake, but thinking of sticking with the M performance one for a while. LMK if you're interested.

Wiechers front strut tower brace

Just installed this strut brace, it took about 5 minutes. I haven't driven driven yet to know if the difference is noticeable, but I'll update soon!

From CarbonDM on Instagram. Very happy with the wheel, and was able to custom order it exactly how I wanted. I'd recommend checking them out!

Ok, I've had this strut brace on for over a month now, and from the first drive I could totally feel the difference! The car felt much more responsive and connected to the road. The lack of body roll is definitely noticeable!Highly recommend if you're on the fence.

CF CS Style rear spoiler

Ok, so I finally added some carbon fiber to the exterior of the car.

Picked up this OEM CS style spoiler from Straight Six today, and am pretty stoked with how it came out! Getting the old adhesive off was a pain in the ass... Ended up buying a rubber buffing wheel attachment for my drill, and was able to clean it off in 5 minutes, HIGHLY recommend that route if you're working with old 3m tape.

Let's try this again

Last month I installed a CS style carbon fiber spoiler, and loved it, but it just wasn't the exact look I was going for... so I changed it up just a little. I ordered the F30/F80 M4 Style Carbon Fiber Spoiler from RW Carbon, and THIS is what I was looking for.

What do you think?

Here's a link in case you wanted to check it out.

Old one for sale.

OUCH!

Well, the streets of Chula Vista came out and bit me! These potholes in San Diego are no joke, and here's proof! I actually ran my splitter over after it ripped off my bumper

Fixed!

Thanks again to the guys at CID Autobody for taking care of me! I ordered a new splitter, and they paint matched for me, and fixed my bumper... again...
