I wouldn't assume so no.. its the same gasket, so worth keeping an eye on it as normal.

- CSF engine oil cooler - CSF 7081 radiator I tend to track the car a lot in hot weather and want something that can last 50-60 minute sessions in case my girlfriend also wants to partake in HPDEs. |

It works very well, as an additional thermostat to keep oil temps 20 deg F LESS than running without it. I used to be constantly at 250F, now my peak oil temp is 230F. Even after hard driving or on the hottest days idling in traffic.
My 435 has the additional OEM oil cooler in the passenger lower outboard grille duct. This simply connects to that unit, and more effectively controls its operation. It doesn’t make the cooling system run faster, to increase cooling, like some tune options. It increases the use of the outboard oil cooler. The engineering, design & quality are top notch (better than OEM), the operation flawless - I’m super satisfied… Tom |

New BMW Sourced Gaskets from Japan
Quote:
In my 2015 N55 the old style gaskets were used and on replacement I went BMW OEM gaskets which were fab'd in Japan and looked different than what was installed new. . |

If you get the gasket kit with the Oil Thermostat, which is recommended, they include the BMW OEM (made in Japan) gaskets. Pic below from the Mosselman site…
Also, re: the prior Q: MSL also offers additional single and double Oil Cooler kits as well that work with the Oil Thermostat for track applications (they also have an AN- adapter fitting for the cooler lines. I would guess that would let it work with a CSF oil cooler. UPDATED: It will definitely work with the CSF Oil Cooler…. It’s what Mosselman includes in their kits. “The kit comes with the MSL Oil Thermostat and a CSF Oil Cooler that replaces the OEM part #17217618360. The CSF cooler is plug-and-play and requires no modifications to install.” Last edited by visionaut; 06-11-2021 at 07:58 PM.. Reason: update re: CSF oil cooler |
